GLAMIS, CALIFORNIA — October 31, 2026 — Polaris has officially raised the stakes in professional off-road racing with the introduction of the all-new RZR Pro R Factory Boost, a purpose-built, 400-horsepower desert racing machine engineered to push the limits of Side-by-Side competition.

Unveiled October 30 at Camp RZR in California's legendary Glamis Imperial Sand Dunes, the Factory Boost represents a significant leap forward in factory-built UTV racing technology.

With a starting price of $200,000, the new RZR combines a race-tuned turbocharged engine, a 4130 chromoly chassis built by Geiser Performance, advanced FOX suspension, carbon-fiber bodywork, and sophisticated MoTeC electronics.

This isn't another recreational UTV with a racing package. It's a dedicated competition vehicle designed to challenge the toughest desert racing courses in North America.

400 HORSEPOWER — THE NEXT LEVEL OF FACTORY PERFORMANCE

Powering the Factory Boost is a race-tuned, turbocharged 2.0-liter ProStar Fury four-cylinder engine producing up to 400 horsepower.

That's an impressive 125-horsepower increase over the 275-horsepower production RZR Pro R Boost, representing approximately 45% more power.

Polaris has also refined engine cooling and power delivery to withstand extended high-speed competition through deep sand, punishing whoops, and rough desert terrain.

GEISER PERFORMANCE CHASSIS — BUILT FOR THE PUNISHMENT OF DESERT RACING

The Factory Boost features a 4130 chromoly chassis built by Geiser Performance, engineered for the extraordinary demands of professional off-road competition.

With a 111-inch wheelbase, the new RZR is 6.5 inches longer than the previous-generation Factory race vehicle, improving the platform's potential for stability at high speeds.

The cockpit is also two inches wider, providing additional room for the driver and co-driver.

The Factory Boost measures 164 inches long, 74 inches wide, and 71.6 inches tall, with 17.5 inches of ground clearance.

Carbon-fiber bodywork, developed with computational fluid dynamics, helps improve aerodynamic efficiency at speeds exceeding 100 mph.

RACE-PROVEN COMPONENTS AND ADVANCED SUSPENSION

The Factory Boost is equipped with an impressive collection of professional racing components:

  • FOX 3.0-inch DYNAMIX DV Live Valve internal-bypass shocks

  • 22.25 inches of front suspension travel and 24.5 inches of rear travel

  • 35-inch BFGoodrich racing tires mounted on Method BeadGrip wheels

  • MoTeC M150 engine management and dual power distribution modules

  • PRP racing seats and RIGID performance lighting

  • FOX steering damper and race-specific suspension tuning

With an estimated dry weight of approximately 2,600 pounds, the Factory Boost combines significant horsepower with a purpose-built racing platform.

45 GALLONS OF FUEL — ENGINEERED TO GO THE DISTANCE

Desert racing is about more than outright speed. Fuel strategy, reliability, and minimizing pit stops can determine the outcome of a race.

Polaris has increased fuel capacity from 34 gallons in the previous Factory platform to 45 gallons in the new Factory Boost.

That represents approximately 32% more fuel capacity, with Polaris projecting a racing range exceeding 200 miles.

For teams competing in long-distance desert events, that additional range could mean fewer stops and a significant strategic advantage.

KING OF THE HAMMERS 2027 — THE FIRST REAL TEST

The new RZR Pro R Factory Boost is scheduled to make its competition debut at the 2027 King of the Hammers in Johnson Valley, California, where RZR Factory Racing plans to enter the vehicle in multiple races.

With its combination of extreme terrain, technical rock sections, and high-speed desert racing, King of the Hammers will provide an immediate test of the Factory Boost's engineering.

The new model joins the existing Gen 2 RZR Pro R Factory in Polaris' competition lineup, giving professional racers another factory-built option.

$200,000 — THE PRICE OF FACTORY RACING TECHNOLOGY

The RZR Pro R Factory Boost carries a starting U.S. MSRP of $200,000, placing it firmly in the professional racing category.

Orders are being accepted in limited quantities through SCI Distribution, LLC, the exclusive distributor, with the initial ordering window scheduled to close February 15, 2027.

For professional racing teams, the Factory Boost offers access to a fully developed competition platform without starting an entirely custom vehicle program from scratch.

THE FUTURE OF SIDE-BY-SIDE RACING?

The RZR Pro R Factory Boost represents more than another increase in horsepower.

It reflects the continuing evolution of Side-by-Side racing, where advanced engineering, factory investment, and increasingly sophisticated technology are bringing UTVs closer to traditional desert racing vehicles.

With 400 horsepower, a Geiser Performance-built chromoly chassis, sophisticated electronic suspension, and a 200-plus-mile projected racing range, Polaris is making its intentions clear.

The next generation of factory desert racing has arrived. And at $200,000, Polaris is betting serious racers are ready for it.
